The terms governing your use of Praivon

Acceptance of Terms
By using Praivon, you agree to these Terms.
- ▸These Terms of Service ('Terms') form a binding legal agreement between you ('you', 'User', 'Client') and PRAIVON ('we', 'us', 'Praivon')
- ▸By creating an account, subscribing to a plan, or otherwise using our services, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms
- ▸If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not create an account or use Praivon
- ▸These Terms work alongside our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy — together they constitute the complete agreement governing your use of Praivon
Description of Services
AI identity protection — we monitor the web, detect threats, and help remove harmful content.
- ▸Continuous monitoring of public web platforms for content related to your identity (name, aliases, usernames, and biometric references)
- ▸AI-supported detection of identity leaks, impersonation, deepfake content, and unauthorized use of your likeness
- ▸Expert-handled takedown coordination via DMCA, GDPR Article 17, platform-specific abuse channels, and other applicable legal mechanisms
- ▸Real-time alerts via email and other channels, as your subscription plan allows
- ▸A web dashboard to manage identity profiles, review detections, and track takedown progress
Service tiers (Essential, Premium, Custom) differ in features, limits, and pricing. Current plan details are available at /pricing.
Important honest disclosures:
- ▸We use a combination of automation and human expertise — most effective takedowns require human formulation and active follow-up communication
- ▸We cannot guarantee discovery of every instance of identity misuse — the internet is vast, fast-changing, and partially inaccessible
- ▸We cannot guarantee that any specific platform or host will honor a takedown request
- ▸Our service is a powerful, proactive tool — not a legal guarantee of complete or permanent erasure
Eligibility & Account
You must be 18+, provide accurate information, and keep your account secure.
(a) Eligibility
- ▸You must be at least 18 years old to create a Praivon account
- ▸You must have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract in your jurisdiction
- ▸The account must be used to protect your own identity; Custom plan clients may protect identities of individuals they are legally authorized to represent (e.g. talent managers under a signed management agreement)
(b) Account creation
- ▸Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and keep it up to date
- ▸One account per person or legal entity; multi-user team access is available under Custom plans
- ▸Do not create accounts on behalf of third parties without proper legal authorization
(c) Account security
- ▸You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and any 2FA credentials
- ▸Enable two-factor authentication (2FA) — it is strongly recommended and available for all accounts in Settings
- ▸Notify us immediately at contact@praivon.com if you suspect any unauthorized access to your account
- ▸PRAIVON is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain account security
Subscriptions & Payment
Monthly or yearly. Auto-renews. Cancel anytime.
(a) Plans and billing cycle
- ▸Available plans: Essential (€89/month), Premium (€349/month), Custom (from €2,499+/month) — current pricing at /pricing
- ▸Billing cycle: monthly or yearly; yearly billing provides a 30% discount
- ▸Custom plans are governed by the terms in a separate Order Form or individual contract
(b) Auto-renewal
- ▸Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle at the then-current rate, unless cancelled before the renewal date
- ▸Cancel at any time from Settings → Subscription or via the Stripe Customer Portal — cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
- ▸You keep full access to the service until the end of your paid period
(c) Payment processing
- ▸All payments are processed securely by Stripe Ireland (EU-licensed, PCI-DSS Level 1) — PRAIVON never stores your card details
- ▸Applicable VAT and local taxes are added based on your billing country and legal entity status
(d) Price changes
- ▸PRAIVON may change prices for future billing cycles with at least 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers via email
- ▸Price changes do not apply retroactively — your current billing period is honored at the price you agreed to
Refunds & Cancellation
Full refund before activation. Pro-rata for 14 days after. Then non-refundable.
- ▸Before activation — if you have NOT yet completed biometric setup or triggered monitoring activity: 100% refund within 14 days of subscription, per EU Directive 2011/83/EU
- ▸After activation — within 14 days of first use: pro-rata refund based on unused days remaining in the billing period
- ▸After 14 days from activation: subscriptions are non-refundable; you may cancel to prevent future renewals
- ▸Custom plans: refund terms are defined in your individual Order Form or contract
- ▸Account deletion always stops future billing — see Settings to cancel or delete your account

Acceptable Use
Use Praivon for protecting your identity. Don't break the law or abuse the service.
You agree NOT to use Praivon to:
- ▸Protect identities you have no legal right to protect, or use the service on behalf of others without proper authorization
- ▸Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent takedown requests or identity claims
- ▸Harass, stalk, surveil, defame, or otherwise harm any individual, directly or through the service
- ▸Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, hack, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the service or its underlying systems
- ▸Violate any applicable law, third-party intellectual property rights, or the terms of any monitored platform
- ▸Resell, sublicense, white-label, or commercially redistribute the service without explicit written agreement with PRAIVON
- ▸Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to interact with the service beyond officially supported integrations
- ▸Upload content containing malware, or any content you do not have the right to process or share
PRAIVON reserves the right to investigate suspected violations, suspend access during investigation, and permanently terminate accounts confirmed to be in breach of these rules or applicable law.
Your Content & Data
You own your data. We use it only to provide the service.
- ▸You retain all rights, title, and ownership to the content and data you upload or provide — biometric references, profile information, instructions, and detection evidence
- ▸By using Praivon, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to process your content solely to operate the service on your behalf — monitoring, detecting, and acting on threats to your identity
- ▸This license ends when you delete the relevant data or close your account — deletion of biometric files is immediate
- ▸We do not claim ownership of your content, and we do not use it for any purpose beyond providing the service
- ▸We do not use your personal data or biometric references to train AI models for ourselves or any third party
- ▸Detection evidence (URLs, screenshots, platform data) collected as part of our service may be retained for up to 12 months after account closure for legal and dispute-resolution purposes — see Privacy Policy

Intellectual Property
Our service is ours. Your data is yours.
- ▸The Praivon brand, name, logo, software, dashboard design, and all service-related intellectual property are the exclusive property of PRAIVON or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable IP laws
- ▸These Terms do not grant you any right to use PRAIVON's trademarks, logos, or branding outside of normal use of the service (e.g. to indicate that you use Praivon)
- ▸Feedback, suggestions, and ideas you share about the service may be used by PRAIVON to improve or develop the service without any obligation of compensation or attribution
- ▸All data, content, and identity references you contribute remain yours — see Section 7
Takedowns & Legal Action
We help you remove harmful content using legal channels. Results vary by platform.
(a) How takedowns work
- ▸When a verified detection requires removal, Praivon initiates takedown requests through the appropriate channel: DMCA notice (copyright), GDPR Article 17 request (right to erasure), platform-specific abuse reporting, or direct legal notice via counsel
- ▸Most effective takedowns require human review, professional formulation, and active follow-up communication — this is the norm in the content removal industry
(b) Realistic expectations
- ▸Response times vary widely: major platforms typically respond within hours to days; smaller sites may take weeks; some may not respond at all
- ▸Platforms may refuse requests for legal, policy, or jurisdictional reasons outside Praivon's control
- ▸Content removed from one location may reappear elsewhere — our monitoring continues for as long as your subscription is active
(c) Legal escalation (Custom plans)
- ▸For Custom plan clients, escalation to formal legal action is available through PRAIVON's vetted network of legal partners in relevant jurisdictions
- ▸Legal representation and court filings are billed at partner rates; PRAIVON adds a coordination fee quoted per case before any work begins
- ▸PRAIVON does not itself provide legal advice — we identify and coordinate with qualified counsel on your behalf
Suspension & Termination
We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
(a) By us
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, if:
- ▸You violate these Terms, our Privacy Policy, or applicable law
- ▸You engage in fraudulent activity, abuse, or harm to others through or in connection with the service
- ▸Payment fails and is not resolved within 14 days of the due date
- ▸We are required to do so by a court order, regulatory authority, or law enforcement with legal basis
- ▸We discontinue the service entirely — in which case you will receive at least 30 days' advance notice
(b) By you
- ▸You can close your account at any time from Settings → Delete Account
- ▸Closure cancels your subscription; you retain access until the end of the current billing period
- ▸All your data is permanently deleted according to the retention schedule in our Privacy Policy
(c) Effect of termination
- ▸Your access to the service ends; data deletion follows our 12-month grace period policy, then permanent erasure
- ▸Provisions that by their nature survive termination remain in force: intellectual property, limitation of liability, indemnification, and dispute resolution
Disclaimers & Warranties
We provide the service 'as is' — we work hard, but we cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
Praivon is provided 'as is' and 'as available' — to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability, and non-infringement.
We do NOT warrant that:
- ▸The service will detect every instance of identity misuse, impersonation, or deepfake content
- ▸All takedown requests will succeed or result in permanent removal
- ▸The service will be uninterrupted, completely error-free, or fully secure at all times
- ▸Content removed from one location will not reappear elsewhere
We apply commercially reasonable efforts to maintain the service, deliver detection capabilities, and respond to support requests within the timeframes committed for your plan.
Consumer rights: nothing in these Terms limits or waives any non-waivable consumer rights you may have under applicable law, including EU Directive 2011/83/EU and national consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.
Limitation of Liability
Our liability is limited. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- ▸PRAIVON is NOT liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, reputation, or business opportunity — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages
- ▸Our total cumulative liability for all claims relating to the service is limited to the amounts you actually paid PRAIVON in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim
- ▸These limitations do NOT apply to: (a) liability arising from PRAIVON's gross negligence or willful misconduct; (b) mandatory consumer protection rights under applicable law that cannot be disclaimed; (c) types of damages that applicable law specifically prohibits limiting
- ▸The disclaimers and limitations in Sections 11 and 12 reflect a reasonable allocation of risk, form a fundamental basis of the agreement, and apply even if a limited remedy fails its essential purpose
Indemnification
If your misuse of the service causes us legal trouble, you cover our costs.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless PRAIVON and its officers, employees, contractors, and agents from any third-party claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:
- ▸Your violation of these Terms or any document incorporated by reference
- ▸Your violation of any applicable law or any third-party rights, including intellectual property, privacy, or contractual rights
- ▸Your misuse of the service, including submitting false or fraudulent takedown requests
- ▸Content, instructions, or data you provide to Praivon for processing
We will notify you promptly of any such claim and cooperate reasonably at your expense. You may not settle any claim that imposes obligations, restrictions, or liability on PRAIVON without our prior written consent.
Changes to the Service or Terms
We may improve the service and update the Terms. Material changes are announced in advance.
(a) Changes to the service
- ▸We may add, modify, or remove features to improve the service at any time; where possible, we will communicate significant changes in advance
- ▸Material reductions in service capability for active paid plans will be communicated at least 30 days in advance, with the option to cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion
(b) Changes to these Terms
- ▸We may update these Terms to reflect legal, regulatory, technical, or business changes
- ▸The 'Last updated' date at the top of this page reflects the version currently in effect
- ▸For material changes — those that significantly affect your rights or obligations — we will notify active users by email at least 30 days before the effective date
- ▸Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms
- ▸If you disagree with material changes, you may cancel your subscription before the effective date and receive a pro-rata refund for the unused portion of your billing period
Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
Governed by Romanian law. Stronger local consumer rights always apply to you.
(a) Governing law
- ▸These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles
- ▸The United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods does not apply to these Terms
(b) Consumer protection
If you are a consumer residing in the European Union, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction with mandatory consumer protection laws that provide stronger rights than Romanian law, those mandatory protections continue to apply to you and prevail over this Section to the extent required by law.
(c) Dispute resolution
- ▸We strongly encourage you to contact us first at contact@praivon.com — most concerns can be resolved quickly and informally
- ▸EU consumers may use the European Commission Online Dispute Resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr
- ▸If informal resolution fails, disputes will be resolved by the competent courts of Bucharest, Romania, subject to any mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules in your country of residence
Miscellaneous
Standard legal housekeeping provisions.
- ▸Entire agreement: these Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, Refund Policy, and any Order Form for Custom plans, constitute the entire agreement between you and Praivon regarding the service and supersede all prior agreements
- ▸Severability: if any provision is held unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions remain in full force
- ▸No waiver: our failure to enforce any provision on one occasion is not a waiver of our right to enforce it in the future
- ▸Assignment: you may not assign or transfer your rights under these Terms without our prior written consent; we may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with notice to you
- ▸Force majeure: neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, strikes, internet infrastructure outages, or government actions
- ▸Notices: notices to PRAIVON must be sent to contact@praivon.com; notices to you will be sent to the email address on your account
- ▸Language: these Terms are provided in English and Romanian; in case of conflict, the Romanian version applies to users residing in Romania, and the English version applies to all other users
