Refund Policy

This Refund Policy explains when and how refunds are issued for Praivon subscriptions. It is a complement to Section 5 of our Terms of Service.
The principle
Praivon is a digital service that consumes real resources — computational scanning, human review, takedown actions — from the moment you activate it. By activating, you receive immediate value. Our refund policy reflects this reality while complying with EU consumer law.
Three scenarios
1. Paid but not yet activated (within 14 days)
If you have paid but have NOT uploaded biometric data, started a scan, or used any protected feature: full refund within 14 days. Email billing@praivon.com.
2. Activated, within 14 days of payment
Once you activate the service:
- The portion already consumed (scans run, takedowns initiated, infrastructure allocated) is non-refundable — you have already received this value.
- The unused portion of your billing period is refundable on a pro-rata basis if requested within 14 days of original payment.
Pro-rata formula: (days remaining ÷ total days in period) × amount paid, minus any third-party costs already incurred for takedowns on your behalf.
3. After 14 days
Outside the 14-day window, fees are non-refundable. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges, but the current billing period is not refundable.
Custom / Enterprise plans
Custom plans operate under individual contracts. Refund terms are specified in your contract. The default position is no refunds.
We always refund when
Regardless of the rules above, we issue full refunds if:
- The service is materially defective due to our fault
- Significant downtime (greater than 30 consecutive days) prevents service delivery
- We materially breach our Terms of Service
- Required by an order from ANSPDCP, a court, or competent EU authority
- The transaction is found to be unauthorized (fraud)
How to request a refund
Email billing@praivon.com with:
- Your account email
- The transaction date and amount
- The reason for your request
We respond within 5 business days. Approved refunds are processed via the original payment method within 14 days.
Chargebacks
Please contact us before initiating a chargeback. Most disputes are resolved faster through direct communication. Chargebacks initiated without prior contact, when the service was delivered as agreed, may result in account suspension.
Your statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits your mandatory consumer rights under EU law. If any term of this policy conflicts with applicable consumer protection law, that law prevails.
