DMCA Policy
Last updated: May 2026
Praivon respects intellectual property rights and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and equivalent EU copyright frameworks. This policy describes how Praivon submits takedown requests on behalf of clients, and how third parties can contact us about copyright concerns.
1. Takedowns we submit on behalf of clients
On instruction from our verified clients, Praivon submits DMCA notices, GDPR Article 17 deletion requests, and equivalent legal notices to platforms hosting infringing content.
Before submitting any takedown, we verify:
- The client owns or has authorization for the content/identity in question
- The match identified is the client's identity (face/voice/name fingerprint match above confidence threshold)
- The content was uploaded without consent
- The takedown is made in good faith
Clients submitting false or bad-faith takedown requests may have their accounts terminated and may face civil liability under applicable law.
2. If you received a takedown notice from us
If you operate a platform and have received a takedown notice from Praivon, the notice will include:
- Identification of the infringing material and its location (URL)
- Identification of the protected identity (without revealing private data unnecessarily)
- Statement of authorization from the rightsholder
- Contact information
- Good-faith belief statement
We comply with notice-and-takedown procedures under DMCA section 512, EU Digital Services Act, and equivalent national laws.
3. Counter-notice
If you believe content was wrongfully reported by us, you can submit a counter-notice through the relevant platform's standard process. The platform will forward it to us, and we will review with our client.
For bad-faith Praivon takedowns specifically, contact us directly at legal@praivon.com with:
- The original takedown notice or its reference number
- Your contact information
- Statement explaining why the takedown was wrongful
- Your consent to legal jurisdiction in the EU
4. Repeat infringers
Praivon does not host user-generated content. We are a B2B service identifying potential infringements on third-party platforms. Repeat infringer policies are the responsibility of the platforms that host the content.
5. Designated agent
